Click on the links below to download the public domain software. The compressed directories for UNIX systems with the .tar extension, once downloaded, can be extracted with tar -xvf filename.tar Files with the .zip extensions are for the PC, and can be extracted with the Winzip software: just click on the icon once it is downloaded.

Note that the original INDUCT, SLINE and JSIM software are for UNIX. The zip files are just compressed PC versions of the UNIX files. However, the source code is included so recompilation is possible on the PC.

INDUCT: Inductance calculation program. The README file in the extracted directory gives instructions on how to use the software.

SLINE: Superconducting microstrip line calculation program. After extraction, run the executable or recompile the C source code. Run the software, it will prompt with instructions

JSIM: Josephson SPICE simulator developed at UC Berkeley.

The README file in the uncompressed directory gives some information. For more information, download the original Acrobat Reader paper JSIM_ISEC89.pdf

IPAT: Interferometer threshold curve plotter. Replaces the DCSQ program.

Other resources

WinS: A circuit simulator for Windows and the PC by V. K. Kaplunenko. See V. K. Kaplunenko's web page for more information and to obtain the program.

An excellent commercial Josephson-capable SPICE simulator (WRspice) that includes both Monte Carlo and thermal noise analysis is available from Whiteley Research Inc. Also available from that site is the original Jspice3 simulator, and a number of free programs for design and analysis.
